Many of us have become accustomed to the world of customer goods that we live in today. Things are made cheaply, quickly and they are meant to be used and replaced.
Let's face it, that's a great model for business. Making stuff that breaks is one way to have re-occurring business. It's just a sad way.
We are used to things letting us down. Being prettier on the Instagram ad then in real life. Falling apart way too fast. And generally speaking, we have all just become ok with this.
OR
You have dipped your toe into the world of quality. You have splurged on the Lululemon pants, or the Filson bag and you have felt the difference in quality and weight. But your wallet felt it. Quality costs a lot right now, because it's not the norm. It's not normal to produce a quality item and charge a fair price for it. It's just not the most efficient way to grow a business.
But it is the right way. And it is the way that we are doing it at Kid Proof Clothing. Quality goods at prices that don't hurt your feelings. Because life shouldn't feel like the store at the end of Chuck E. Cheese, where you never have enough for what you want and the thing you settle for is broken by the time you get to the car.
Our goal at Kid Proof Clothing is to make clothes that are great. Clothes that are durable. Clothes that actually are better looking in person than on the ad (partly because Zack sucks a pictures). Clothes that don't suck and are priced fairly.
While that may be a bad business model, it's the only one we are interested in.
